WIPCOL is the only orgnaization with chapters spread across the globe and having over 13,000 firms registered with it globally. Our Global Chapters bring together lawyers and law firms of different countries to a single platform.
In addition to our annual global events, our chapters individually carry out several annual and biannual conferences and meet ups along with other events and activities for our member lawyers.
WIPCOL Americas includes lawyers and law firms from both North America and South America. WIPCOL Americas is the largest WIPCOL chapter.
The WIPCOL Americas has its own local quarterly publication which provides deep insight into the legal fraternity of the region. Our member law firms include some of the biggest corporate lawfirms of the United States.
Established in 1995, WIPCOL Europe has now become the second largest chapter.
The WIPCOL Europe has several other committees and bodies actively recognized by the European Union including the European Committee of Copyrights & Trademark infringement, which has to date sorted over 25,000 IP litigation disputes in Europe.
The newest estbalished WIPCOL Chapter, out Middle East chapters officially began its operations in 2007. The chapter has represent some of the biggest Middle Eastern conglomerates.
WIPCOL Middle East is also actively involved in reestablishing businesses in what used to be the conflict zones until recently.
WIPCOL Africa works in partnership with several government and non-government agencies to ensure intellectual property rights are duly established and implemented across Africa. Our members include some of the biggest African law firms and independent Intellectual Property Lawyers who are actively involved in legislative matters.
The third largest chapter WIPCOL Asia Pacific boasts a staggering number of memberships of Asia's leading law firms and lawyers.
WIPCOL Asia PACIFIC also recently made it to headlines after one of the member law firms won a historic law suit against a beijing based conglomerate for copyrights infringement. In addition the WIPCOL Asia Pacific also boasts its own quarterly publications and several event.s
